Christmas Holidays are finally here and don’t we know it. We have had a last minute rush on bookings for the month of December and early January. Unfortunately most people are still only wanting to get away for 3 or 4 nights so we are doing our best with regards to tariffs over this period of time. The holiday department had a great surge in bookings in late November thanks to the Coolum Golf PGA. Our guests consisted of professional golfers, caddies and companies that were working over the week at The Hyatt. All of these guests had a great stay and enjoyed the accommodation we had on offer, we are hopeful to welcome them back again next year.

The new development just north of our office next to McDonalds is about to open in the coming weeks, just in time for the holiday makers. At this stage there will be another ice cream shop, Red rooster and coffee shop that will take up leases (I can feel my hips expand just thinking about this) The Coolum night markets kicked off last week and will run over the Summer period with Santa making an appearance this weekend. The markets have always been popular with tourists, locals and great for the local Coolum business community.
